Act III · The Living Memory
What the Union remembers is not stored as summary. A clause on a page, a photograph, an issue of Union Postale — each holds one decision and keeps it for the year it is needed again. MIRA listens for which has the answer, and lets it speak.
One thousand four hundred and twenty-four documents are awake in the archive — each one a decision, each one able to answer for itself. Three questions are rehearsed. The fourth is yours.
